![]() ![]() Verizon’s part number for the MOK that supports the V710 out of the box is VERKUMO2KV2. While there is an “update via internet” option built into the software, some users who had an older version report the data cable drivers do not work with the V710. ![]() Note: Older versions of Verizon’s MOK didn’t support the V710. It is only good for working with the phonebook. CSV files, it can not interface directly with Outlook, so there is no option to sync. While it can import and export Outlook data files and. And you can usually find MPT V2 Cd's with a cable and drivers for $20 to $30 on ebay. Verizon sells the same package on their web site (listed with the other V710 accessories) for $39.99 (It seems as Verizon does not sell the MPT Kit in the stores!!) BVRP Software's web site only has the MPT V3 software (no datacable) for $39.99. Btw, Moto Sells MPT v3 with Motorola SKN6311B USB Data cable with charging port (and drivers) for $59.99 on their web site. You can do "hacks" or Seem Edits to re-enable these features. (NOTE: I have been contacted by some E815 users stating prior to doing seem edits they were able to work with Calendar/Contacts via Bluetooth.) Connection to the phone via Bluetooth does not work with MPT, nor does the Multimedia Studio feature. However, despite all of the features MPT lists, with a STOCK Verizon V710 or E815 phone, all you can do is work with the contacts and calendar over a USB Cable. It can even work with Ringers, graphics and videos copying them between the Phone and PC (multimedia studio feature). It can sync contacts and calendar with Outlook, outlook express, Lotus Notes, and its own built in calendar/contacts apps. Mobile Phone Tools aka MPT (or visit the BVRP Software page for details/info) seems to be the most popular package. Note: Mobile Phone Tools (aka MPT) is not the same as Verizon's Mobile Office Kit.
